16 shipments arrived at King Fahad Industrial Port for Samsung Engineering
Riyadh, September 06, 2023, 16 large shipments requested by Samsung Engineering for their $653 million project to construct a petrochemical facility for the Advanced Global Investment Company (AGIC) in Jubail Industrial City have arrived at King Fahad Industrial Port in Jubail. The efficient handling of the incoming consignment highlights the Arabian Gulf hub's top-tier capabilities, which were made possible by the extensive upgrades and investments made by the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) in accordance with the Global Supply Chain Resilience Initiative, which aims to establish the Kingdom as a vital link in the world's logistics network. King Fahad Industrial Port, a cutting-edge structure with 34 berths and a throughput capacity of 70 million tons, was built in 1982 to act as a trade gateway for Jubail's expanding industrial complex and to increase the Kingdom's economic output as a key producer of petrochemical goods.
