Abdullah Alsunaid, CEO of the 2024 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships, praised the victorious U-20 women's foil team in Riyadh

Riyadh, April 15, 2024, Abdullah Alsunaid, the CEO of the 2024 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships, recently acknowledged the outstanding performance of the victorious women's foil team under 20 years old during the ongoing championship in Riyadh.

The Japanese team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, earning the gold medal by defeating Italy, who secured the silver, in a series of thrilling competitions held at the prestigious King Saud University Sports Arena. The Republic of Korea also showcased their prowess, securing the bronze medal. Additionally, the French team displayed impressive fencing techniques, achieving a joint bronze and taking the third spot on the podium.

In the men's events, the winners of day three were honored by Mohamed Chaouchi, President of the Tunisian Fencing Federation. The American team showcased their fencing prowess, securing the gold medal in the men's foil team under 20 years old category, triumphing over Italy who settled for silver. Japan added to their achievements by claiming the bronze, while the French team also achieved bronze and claimed the third spot in the rankings.

These achievements highlight the exceptional talent and competitive spirit showcased by the participating teams, adding to the excitement and prestige of the 2024 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships.
