Al-Nassr beat Damac 2-1 as Ronaldo celebrated 200th Portugal appearance

RIYADH — Al-Nassr regained their winning momentum in the Saudi Pro League by defeating Damac 2-1 in a match marked by Cristiano Ronaldo's 200th appearance with the Portuguese national team. The first half saw Al-Nassr struggling without key players due to injuries, and Damac took an early lead with a goal from N'Koudou.

At halftime, Al-Nassr's captain, Ronaldo, showed visible frustration after a heated dispute with the referee regarding a goal decision. In the second half, Al-Nassr changed tactics, launching a series of attacks. Talisca, the Brazilian midfielder, equalized with a free kick, and Ronaldo added another goal with a free kick, securing the lead.

Despite Damac's efforts, they couldn't level the score, leading to Al-Nassr's victory, lifting them to third place with 22 points, while Damac remained at ten points. In another match, Al-Hazem's coach, Daniel Carreño, celebrated his debut with a 4-2 victory over Al-Raed. This win marked Al-Hazem's first of the season, bringing them to seven points, while Al-Raed faced setbacks, remaining at five points and dropping to the bottom of the rankings.
