Arab Camel Racing Federation announces inaugural Arab Cup, starting May 3rd

Riyadh, March 27, 2024, The Arab Camel Racing Federation has announced the inaugural edition of the Arab Cup for Camel Racing, featuring 13 rounds scheduled to commence on May 3rd. This championship, conducted in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), will take place at the AlUla Camel Racing Field and boasts a prize pool exceeding SAR 3 million, inclusive of both financial rewards and in-kind prizes.

Camels participating in this prestigious event will engage in races covering distances of 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 kilometers, presenting a diverse range of challenges for their owners. A total of 13 cups will be up for grabs, adding an element of competitiveness and excitement to the championship.

It's noteworthy that participation in the Arab Cup for Camel Racing is restricted to camel owners hailing from Arab countries, ensuring a showcase of top-tier talent and camels from the region. This event serves as a celebration of Arab heritage, culture, and the longstanding tradition of camel racing, bringing together enthusiasts and competitors to witness the skill and prowess of these magnificent animals.
