Belgian Ambassador and delegation explore Saudi National Museum's cultural richness

Riyadh, November 23, 2023, The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Pascal Grégoire, along with his delegation from the Belgian Embassy and officials from Belgian companies specializing in museum solutions, visited the Saudi National Museum at its headquarters in the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh.

During the visit, the Belgian ambassador had the opportunity to tour the museum, which is comprised of eight exhibition halls organized around themes representing the natural development of the Arabian Peninsula. The museum's scenario leads visitors through the three phases of the development of the Saudi state. The ambassador explored the museum's collections, which showcase the cultural richness of the Kingdom dating back thousands of years.

Additionally, the Belgian ambassador toured the exhibition titled 'Immigration: In the Footsteps of the Messenger, peace be upon him.' This exhibition is hosted by the Saudi National Museum in its second edition as part of a cultural partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra). The exhibition provides a detailed and distinctive presentation of the noble prophetic journey that began from the Cave of Thawr in Makkah in the year 622 AD and headed to Quba in Madinah.
