Riyadh, August 23, 2023, Under the leadership of Undersecretary of the Ministry for Human Capacity Development Eng. Fares Al-Saqaabi, a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources engaged in a series of discussions with high-ranking officials from the German Ministry of Economy in Munich. The primary objective of these talks was to enhance collaboration between the two nations in the industrial and mining domains as well as foster the exchange of knowledge and expertise in the realm of human capacity development. During the meeting, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions regarding potential collaborations with the University of Munich for Applied Sciences. The focus was primarily on exploring the university's educational curricula and academic programs in various fields related to the industry and mining sectors. Additionally, the delegation expressed keen interest in gaining insights into the training programs offered at the IHK Center. In the course of the meetings, significant emphasis was placed on the historical ties between the Kingdom and the Federal Republic of Germany. Various matters of mutual concern were thoroughly deliberated, with particular attention given to the development of human resources in the industrial and mining sectors. The discussions also revolved around strategies aimed at bolstering bilateral relations in order to realize shared aspirations and objectives between the two parties.
