Dr. Al-Rabiah inaugurates Saudi Visa Services Center (Tasheer) in Rabat, Morocco
Rabat, Oct 5, 2023, The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, has officially inaugurated the Saudi Visa Services Center (Tasheer) in Rabat, Morocco. This center, which is under the umbrella of the Saudi Company for Visa and Travel Solutions (SVTS), has been established with the primary goal of simplifying the visa application process for individuals seeking entry to Saudi Arabia. It will receive visa applications, record essential details, and manage the application process until the visa is issued.
Tasheer is strategically located on Avenue Mohamed V Street in the Souissi area of Rabat, ensuring accessibility and convenience for Moroccan citizens and residents. The center has a capacity to serve 250 applicants daily, and SVTS has plans to extend its services by opening additional centers in various cities, thus expanding its reach and efficiency.
Dr. Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, commended the opening of the Tasheer center, highlighting its role in enhancing services through technological advancements, ultimately benefiting pilgrims and visitors. He emphasized the ministry's ongoing commitment to facilitating the journeys of pilgrims and visitors, making Umrah accessible to a broader range of visitors to Saudi Arabia, regardless of their visa type.
The launch of this center aligns with the goals of the Pilgrim Experience Program, a vital component of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance and modernize services for pilgrims and visitors to the Kingdom.
