Muscat, October 11, 2023, The Saudi-Omani Coordination Council's committee on culture, media, tourism, and social development met for the first time. The meeting was co-chaired by Sayyid Said Sultan al-Busaidi, the undersecretary of Oman's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth for Culture, and Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Kanaan, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Culture's undersecretary for international cultural relations. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Saudi and Omani ministries of culture.
In order to reach a consensus on ideas and measures that support both countries' cultural, tourism, health, media, sports, education, human resources, and social development, the two sides had conversations on topics of shared interest.
