GACA President leads Saudi delegation at Changi Aviation Summit and Singapore Airshow

Singapore, February 21, 2024, A high-level delegation led by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Changi Aviation Summit 2024 and the Singapore Airshow held on February 19 and 20.

GACA's participation in the events aims to align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, specifically focusing on creating an attractive and stimulating environment for the aviation sector and solidifying the Kingdom’s position as a global center connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe. The Saudi presence at the summit is part of the National Aviation Strategy, which aims to transform Saudi Arabia into a global aviation hub, foster international cooperation in air transport, and provide an encouraging system for investors interested in collaborating with the vital aviation sector.

During the event, President Al-Duailej held a meeting with Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat, where they discussed the strong ties between the two countries. The discussions also emphasized enhancing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Singapore and increasing the exchange of expertise in the field of civil aviation.

Additionally, President Al-Duailej engaged in meetings with foreign officials from regional organizations and the civil aviation industry, contributing to the broader goal of strengthening ties and collaboration within the global aviation community.
