GAISF and Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee hold World Combat Games Signing Ceremony


Geneva, Switzerland The World Combat Games (WCG), an international multi-sport festival bringing together age-old customs, thrilling competitions, and sporting demonstrations, will be held in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in 2023. This weekend, GAISF and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee held a signing ceremony to commemorate the occasion.


The nine-day festival-style event will feature competitions, sporting exhibitions, educational conferences, and seminars led by top martial art experts. It will bring together 15 combat sports and martial arts. The first World Martial Arts Gala, honoring the pioneers of martial arts and combat sports, will also take place during the event.


The president of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal Al Saud, stated:


"The opportunity to host the top athletes in the world in Riyadh is an honor for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I'd want to convey our gratitude to GAISF for putting their faith in us to host the 2023 World Combat Games, which honor diversity and promote harmony.
