GCC News Agencies Committee discusses collaborative approach implementation

Riyadh, August 16, 2023, During a recent meeting, the esteemed Committee of Presidents of News Agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) engaged in a thorough discussion regarding the potential implementation of a collaborative approach among Gulf news agencies. The primary objective of this joint effort is to address the prevailing issue of news platforms disseminating misleading and inaccurate information pertaining to GCC countries.

In a momentous development, the proposal was put forth during the highly anticipated 22nd meeting of the committee.
