Riyadh, September 13, 2023, The General Authority of Foreign Trade will attend the 65th Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Trade Cooperation Committee, which will take place tomorrow in Salalah, Oman, with the intention of fostering trade and economic ties among GCC nations. The purpose of the committee meeting is to follow up on the implementation of the decisions made at the committee's 64th meeting, discuss new developments in the free trade agreement discussions with other nations and international blocs, and address other interesting topics. On October 30, 1982, the Trade Cooperation Committee was founded. Its goal is to keep an eye on all trade-related issues that concern the GCC states, including the growth of international commerce, the coordination of export and import policies, and the harmonization of trade rules and regulations to support GCC residents' freedom of commercial activity.
