Indonesian delegation welcomed to Grand Mosque by Department of Disabled Persons' Affairs.

Makkah, August 08, 2023, In a significant development, the Department of Disabled Persons' Affairs, operating under the esteemed Agency for Social, Voluntary, and Humanitarian Services at the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Affairs, recently played host to a delegation hailing from the Republic of Indonesia. Notably, this delegation comprised individuals with hearing impairments, who were warmly welcomed at the revered Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah.

In a recent statement, Assistant Undersecretary for Social and Humanitarian Affairs, Omar bin Suliman Al-Mahmaadi, expressed the department's unwavering commitment to aiding individuals with disabilities. Al-Mahmaadi emphasized the readiness and eagerness of the department to extend the necessary support and assistance required by this marginalized community. According to the National Center of Meteorology, residents in the Eastern and Riyadh regions can expect scorching temperatures in the coming days. Meanwhile, individuals residing in Jazan, Asir, and Baha should brace themselves for thunderstorms accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
