Riyadh, January 28, 2024, The Third Global Summit on Inherited Blood Disorders was held in Riyadh under the auspices of Health Minister Fahd Al-Jalajel. Over 400 professionals, experts, researchers, medical professionals, organizations, and unions from both domestic and foreign locations attended.
The summit's objectives were to prevent blood diseases from being passed down through generations, examine and discuss recent advancements in the area, improve specialist knowledge in inherited blood disorders, and give professionals a forum to interact and share experiences.
In order to decrease hereditary blood illnesses and improve the Kingdom's standing in the Middle East and North Africa against common inherited ailments, the Ministry of Health aims to coordinate and integrate efforts in this regard.
