HRDF boosts private sector employment by 34% in 201,000 Saudis
Riyadh, August 08, 2023, In a remarkable achievement, the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has successfully facilitated the employment of an impressive 201,000 Saudi citizens in the private sector during the initial six months of this year. This notable figure represents a substantial 34% surge compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, where the fund aided in employing 150,000 individuals. Through its diverse range of programs and initiatives, the HRDF has undoubtedly played a pivotal role in bolstering employment opportunities for Saudi citizens in the private sector.
In a recent statement, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of the HRDF Board of Directors, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, emphasized the unwavering support from the wise leadership towards the fund's mission of enhancing the skills and capabilities of Saudi individuals. The primary objectives include boosting their participation in the labor market, promoting job localization within the private sector, forging stronger partnerships with training authorities, and empowering national talent. These efforts aim to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of Saudi workers in the ever-evolving labor market.
