International Fencing Federation delegation visit ends tomorrow with key members
Riyadh, September 12, 2023, Tomorrow marks the end of a visit by the International Fencing Federation (FIE) delegation, which includes CEO Nathalie Rodriguez, Chairman of the Technical Committee Dieter Lammer, and President of the Rules Commission Ziad Feriani. The three-day trip was intended to assess the state of the World Junior and Youth Fencing Championship 2024, which will be held in Riyadh from April 12 to 20, 2024. The Saudi Arabian Fencing Federation (SAFF) CEO Abdullah Alsunaid and President Ahmed Al-Sabban are accompanying the FIE delegation during their visit. The admission processes for participating delegations arriving in the Kingdom and the assistance offered by the Ministry of Sports will be explained to the FIE delegation on Wednesday. Al-Sabban will also meet on Wednesday to go over the requirements and needs of hosting.
The King Saud University sports hall, where the championship's competitions will take place, was visited by the international delegation today. Additionally, it looked at the delegations' lodging options, travel plans, and technical specifications.
