Ministry of Islamic Affairs coordinates symposium on moderation, harmonious coexistence.

Bangkok, July 31, 2023, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance made a significant and noteworthy contribution to the coordination and execution of a scholarly symposium centered on the crucial themes of moderation and harmonious coexistence within a diverse and multicultural societal framework. The collaborative endeavor occurred in conjunction with the esteemed Thai Wasatiyyah Institute for Peace and Development. The symposium, which was graciously organized by the esteemed Prince of Songkla University, situated in the southern region of Thailand, managed to capture the attention and active involvement of an impressive cohort of around 200 erudite university students. The principal aim of this endeavor was to propagate a moderate Islamic ideology, with a particular emphasis on fostering harmonious coexistence between adherents of Islam and individuals who do not subscribe to this faith within the primarily Muslim regions of southern Thailand. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the symposium sought to leverage the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's profound knowledge and proficiency in promoting the principles of moderation while simultaneously addressing the pressing issues of hatred, extremism, and intolerance. Samsung and Misk have joined forces once again to embark on their fifth collaborative endeavor, known as the Samsung Innovation Program. This program, which serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and skill development, aims to equip its participants with a profound understanding of the intricacies of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
