He reiterated the bank's dedication to a just transition for member states and its strong adherence to climate action. Highlighting IsDB Group's crucial role in COP28, he emphasized the group's contribution to sustainable development.
The IsDB aims to align its expertise and resources with COP28, addressing climate challenges and fully aligning its operations with the Paris Agreement objectives by the end of 2023. Dr. Al-Jasser noted that the bank actively supports member states' Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and long-term climate strategies, promoting a fair transition to low-carbon development—a testament to IsDB's unwavering commitment to a green climate.
