King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center supplies food aid to Syrian refugees in Jordan
Riyadh, August 29, 2023, The third phase of the food aid program for Syrian refugees living in camps in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will be implemented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), which will benefit 54,000 people. The agreement was signed by the WFP's Representative to the GCC, Mageed Yahia, and the Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz. With the assistance of KSrelief, the WFP will give refugees residing in the Al-Zaatari refugee camp in the Mafraq Governorate, Jordan, electronic vouchers each month based on blockchain technology. These initiatives are part of the humanitarian and relief assistance given to Syrian refugees by the Kingdom through KSrelief to help them improve their living conditions in host communities.
