KSA's UN delegation praised for unwavering support for Safer Oil Tanker Salvage Operation Project
New York, July 26, 2023, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent delegation to the United Nations in New York City has recently been commended by key figures for its unwavering support for the Safer Oil Tanker Salvage Operation Project. David Gresley, the Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen, and Abdallah Al-Dardari, the Regional Director for Arab Countries at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), have both expressed their gratitude towards the Kingdom for its invaluable assistance. The Kingdom has been commended by the Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Achim Steiner, for its generous contribution of $8 million. This latest donation comes in addition to the previous $10 million that the Kingdom had already pledged towards this cause.
