KSrelief aids Syrian refugees and locals in Arsal with healthcare project

Beirut, April 14, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been actively involved in a healthcare improvement project targeting Syrian refugees and the local community in the town of Arsal, located in the Lebanese Baalbek Governorate.

Throughout March 2024, the Arsal Health Care Center under KSrelief's initiative served a total of 3,422 patients, providing them with a range of 6,128 healthcare services across various sections including clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, nursing, and the community and mental health program. Notably, 38% of the beneficiaries were male, and 62% were female. Among the recipients, 86% were Syrian refugees, while 14% were residents of the host community.

These efforts are emblematic of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to humanitarian relief initiatives, particularly aimed at aiding vulnerable populations such as Syrian refugees. By addressing healthcare needs and providing essential services, KSrelief strives to alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing humanitarian crisis faced by these individuals and communities.
