KSrelief and civil society partner for $5 million collaboration

Riyadh, September 03, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and a civil society organization have inked a significant collaboration deal worth USD 5 million. With this deal, populations in Somalia that have suffered from drought will have access to potable water. A number of wells will be dug and renovated as part of this program, and they will all be powered by solar energy. At a ceremony conducted at the KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh, the agreement was formally signed by Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, the organization's Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs. This partnership is evidence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's consistent support for humanitarian initiatives around the world, which is made possible by KSrelief. It demonstrates the Kingdom's commitment to helping impoverished nations and people everywhere.
