KSrelief and International Medical Corps Conduct Training Course on Child Protection

Amman, December 10, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) partnered with the International Medical Corps to organize a training course aimed at preventing exploitation and physical abuse against children. The course, conducted yesterday, focused on providing mental health and child protection services. The initiative is designed to educate workers from local charitable organizations in Jordan, equipping them with the necessary skills to handle cases of physically abused children, prevent exploitation and violations, and ensure the provision of optimal psychological services.

This training course is part of the broader humanitarian and relief projects initiated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, specifically tailored for Syrian refugees in Jordan. The collaborative effort reflects a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations, particularly children, and underscores the importance of mental health and child protection services in providing holistic support for those in need.
