Port Sudan, February 07, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has recently concluded a volunteer medical initiative focused on urology surgery in Port Sudan, Sudan, marking another successful milestone in its ongoing humanitarian endeavors.
Running from January 27 to February 3, this project engaged five dedicated volunteers representing diverse medical specialties. Throughout its duration, the medical team from KSrelief diligently examined 197 adults and conducted a total of 85 specialized surgical procedures in the field of urology, all of which were executed with commendable success.
This undertaking exemplifies the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to extending vital medical assistance to countries in need or facing significant challenges. Through initiatives such as this, facilitated by KSrelief, Saudi Arabia continues to play a pivotal role in addressing healthcare disparities and providing essential support to communities worldwide.
