KSrelief delivers 1,300 dialysis sessions to Yemen's Marib governorate

Marib, Yemen, February 12, 2024, On Saturday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered 1,300 kidney dialysis sessions to the office of the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population in Marib, aimed at bolstering dialysis centers throughout the governorate.

Dr. Shawqi Al-Sharjabi, the undersecretary of Yemen’s Health Ministry, expressed gratitude for KSrelief's ongoing support to the health sector in Yemen, particularly in Marib.

Dr. Ahmad Al-Abbadi, the director of Marib's health bureau, highlighted the significance of the tools and blood purification fluid provided by KSrelief, emphasizing that they will enable dialysis centers in Marib to continue operating and delivering essential medical services to patients suffering from kidney failure.

This initiative aligns with the Kingdom's commitment to offering relief and humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni health sector through its humanitarian agency, KSrelief.
