Beirut, December 28, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has undertaken the distribution of 1,844 shopping vouchers in the Lebanese Republic. These vouchers empower recipients to purchase essential winter clothing from authorized stores. The beneficiaries include a diverse group of individuals, such as orphans, people with special needs, and the most vulnerable families among Syrian and Palestinian refugees, as well as members of the host community in Lebanon.
This distribution is part of the second phase of the Winter Clothing Distribution Project in Lebanon (Kanaf) for the year 2023. The initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment, channeled through KSrelief, to provide assistance to those in need across various countries. The aim is to alleviate the suffering of individuals facing challenging circumstances and contribute to their well-being, particularly during the winter season. Through such projects, Saudi Arabia continues to play a crucial role in international humanitarian efforts, addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable populations and fostering a spirit of solidarity and support.
