KSrelief enhances clinic operations in Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees

Mafraq, October 23, 2023, In a commendable humanitarian initiative, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has unveiled a significant undertaking aimed at enhancing the operations of KSrelief clinics within the Zaatari Camp, a refuge for Syrian displaced persons in Jordan. This noble endeavor was spearheaded by Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, the Assistant General Supervisor of KSrelief for Operations and Programs.

What makes this initiative even more noteworthy is the collaborative effort involved, with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) joining hands with KSrelief to make a meaningful impact. Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of JHCO, played a pivotal role in orchestrating this cooperative effort, further solidifying the synergy between humanitarian organizations operating within the camp.

This significant development unfolded amidst the presence of several representatives from various humanitarian organizations active within the Zaatari Camp. These organizations, collectively working to alleviate the plight of Syrian refugees, are united in their commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of those residing in the camp.

During this momentous occasion, the KSrelief team received comprehensive insights from the medical director of the clinics, shedding light on the vital medical interventions planned for the forthcoming phase of the project. These insights underscore the dedication of the team and the comprehensive healthcare services that will soon be made available to the vulnerable populations within the camp.

Dr. Al-Shibli took the opportunity to convey profound gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom for its unwavering and generous support, channeled through KSrelief. This support is invaluable in mitigating the suffering endured by Syrian refugees in the Zaatari Camp and, simultaneously, in ameliorating their overall health and well-being. It is a heartwarming testament to the power of collaboration and humanitarian efforts in providing relief to those in need.
