KSrelief launches housing project for Syrian refugees in Jordan's Zaatari

Amman, March 29, 2024, Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a groundbreaking project aimed at supplying mobile housing units to accommodate Syrian refugees residing in Jordan's Zaatari camp. This collaborative endeavor is being executed in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).

The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of JHCO, and Nayef bin Saleh Shammari, Director of the KSrelief Jordan Office, among other dignitaries.

The core objective of the project is to provide adequate housing solutions for Syrian refugee families within the Zaatari camp, with the provision of 500 mobile housing units catering to an equivalent number of families. This initiative directly addresses the pressing need for shelter among the refugee population, which includes both new arrivals and recently married camp residents.

This initiative is seamlessly integrated into the broader humanitarian and relief efforts spearheaded by the Kingdom through KSrelief, underscoring its unwavering commitment to supporting Syrian refugees and improving their living standards.
