Al-Dhale, Yemen, December 29, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) is actively continuing the implementation of the fifth phase of its project to operate the dialysis center in Al-Dhale Governorate. This phase spans from March 7, 2023, to March 8, 2025, with a focus on providing essential medical services to patients with kidney failure in the region.
As part of the project's activities, KSrelief is ensuring the availability of medicines and dialysis consumables for patients, equipping the dialysis center with 18 devices. Additionally, the initiative involves the preparation of medical equipment and laboratory materials, along with the installation of an additional desalination plant to guarantee a safe and high-quality medical service. To enhance the level of care, the project includes contracting with a consultant specialist in nephrology who will supervise the treatment of cases and closely monitor patient progress, thereby alleviating the suffering of both patients and their families.
In a thoughtful gesture, snacks will be distributed to patients after their dialysis sessions. The project is expected to benefit a total of 64 patients with kidney failure from Al-Dhale Governorate and neighboring areas.
This ongoing initiative is part of the relief projects extended by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, demonstrating its commitment to assisting and alleviating the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people in the face of their humanitarian crisis. The project stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia's dedication to providing essential healthcare services to those in need, particularly in times of crisis.
