The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has made significant progress in its ongoing water supply and environmental sanitation projects across multiple districts. These include Midi, Harad, Hayran, and Abs in Hajjah, as well as the Al-Azhor camp situated in the Razih district of Saada.
In a remarkable display of humanitarian efforts, a significant volume of water was generously supplied between the dates of August 2 and August 8, 2023. The provision included an impressive 7,169,000 liters of potable water, ensuring the availability of safe drinking water for those in need. Additionally, an additional 781,000 liters of water specifically designated for domestic use were distributed, further addressing the essential needs of the affected population. In a noteworthy development, a total of 50 work shifts were exclusively assigned to the crucial task of waste removal from camps that are currently providing shelter to displaced individuals.
In the Saada governorate, a staggering 70,000 liters of potable water and an additional 70,000 liters of water for domestic use were successfully pumped. This remarkable feat has brought immense benefits to a significant population of 30,100 individuals, who can now access these vital services with ease.
