Lahij, Yemen, February 03, 2024, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a new phase of its initiative in Lahij governorate, Yemen, aimed at providing school bags and sponsorships for orphans in the region. The commencement of this second phase signals a dedicated effort to support orphans and empower their families economically in Yemen.
In this recent distribution, a total of 150 school bags were handed out, accompanied by cash sponsorships for 150 orphans to facilitate their educational journeys. Furthermore, 50 families received cash sponsorships as part of the broader initiative.

These measures are designed to help families navigate the economic challenges resulting from the loss of a provider. Additionally, the project seeks to facilitate the enrollment of 1,300 orphans in educational programs.
These initiatives are in line with the broader humanitarian and relief efforts led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, with a specific emphasis on providing assistance to orphans in Yemen.
