Madinah's Prophet's Mosque authority acts after recent rainfall

Madinah, March 29, 2024, Following recent rainfall in the Madinah region, the General Authority for the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has sprung into action to maintain the sanctity and accessibility of this revered site for worshippers. Prioritizing cleanliness and upkeep, the authority has initiated comprehensive cleaning and maintenance measures.

Teams have been diligently working to cleanse every nook and cranny of the Prophet's Mosque, including its roof, courtyards, and amenities. To mitigate water damage and hasten the drying process, carpets in exposed areas have been removed. Furthermore, the authority has deployed specialized water suction and washing equipment both indoors and outdoors.

A dedicated workforce has been mobilized to swiftly and effectively address the aftermath of the rainfall.
