Mali Minister praises Saudi Quran competition as mutual respect symbol

Riyadh, February 13, 2024, Muhammad Umar Koni, Mali's Minister of Religious and Worship Affairs, praised the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance for organizing the Mali National Competition for Memorizing and Interpreting the Holy Quran. He described it as a clear demonstration of Saudi Arabia's commitment to Mali and its citizens, as well as its dedication to inspiring young Muslims globally to memorize the Quran. Koni emphasized that this initiative underscores the strong cooperation and mutual respect shared between the two nations. These comments were delivered during the competition's closing ceremony, which showcased 100 participants representing all regions of Mali.
