MENA Climate Week registration open, hosted by Saudi Arabia and UNFCCC
Riyadh, September 07, 2023, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Climate Week registration is now open, accordin g to the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The Boulevard Riyadh City in Riyadh will be the site of MENA Climate Week 2023 from October 8 to October 12, 2023. The gathering of policymakers, practitioners, corporate leaders, youth, and members of civil society will include attendees from all across the MENA region and the rest of the world. All will assemble to discuss the most important going-forward solutions as well as the regional accomplishments made toward the Paris Agreement. The event will also influence the results of the Global Stocktake at COP28, the Paris Agreement's mechanism for progress evaluation. Ministerial panels, roundtables, side events, workshops, an action hub, and a youth summit are among the official sessions and agenda items for MENA Climate Week 2023. These are all organized around four main tracks: energy systems and industry; cities, urban and rural settlements, infrastructure, and transport; land, ocean, food, and water; and societies, health, livelihoods, and economies.
The larger MENA Climate Week 2023 program aims to cover everything from technical side events and workshops to high-level ministerial and CEO engagement, interactive networking, and partnership-building. Additionally, the Kingdom, the host country, exhibits its initiatives and efforts through this.
