Minister of Media welcomed by stc Group CEO and Board

Riyadh, August 31, 2023, Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, Minister of Media, was welcomed to the stc Group's Riyadh headquarters by Prince Mohammed bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Group's Board of Directors, and Eng. Olayan bin Mohammed Al-Wetaid, Group CEO. The two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding in the areas of digital media and artificial intelligence (AI), utilizing cutting-edge technological solutions to support and empower the media system, exchanging expertise in the field of media, and developing leaders. The two sides discussed ways to improve cooperation and develop partnerships for existing and future projects. The MoU seeks to support current collaborative activity, advance it to new levels, and expand cooperation in future projects, as noted by the Minister of Media, who also recognized the group's experience as a significant national landmark and the tight link between the media sector and the group.

Prince Mohammed emphasized the organization's dedication to its role in the digital empowerment of important Kingdom sectors in a variety of fields, including the media. In order to continue offering cutting-edge digital solutions for the growth of media in the Kingdom in a way that maintains pace with the wise leadership's ambitions, he added, the firm wants to leverage technology and knowledge capabilities.
