Riyadh, December 24, 2023, The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef, and the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Saito Ken, have signed a memorandum of cooperation between their respective ministries in mining and mineral resources. The memorandum aims to enhance collaboration in the field of mining and mineral resources, including joint training programs, exchanging professional visits and technical experts, and sharing experiences and information. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed between Manara Minerals Company and the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC), focusing on promoting cooperative investments in mines and establishing projects in third countries, with a focus on Africa and Latin America.
