Riyadh, January 20, 2024, The Misk Foundation, under the leadership of Mohammed bin Salman, successfully concluded its engagement at the 2024 World Economic Forum meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 15-19. During this prestigious global event, Misk took charge of the "Youth Council" pavilion, serving as a platform for bringing together influential decision-makers and dynamic young individuals to engage in insightful discussions on global challenges and potential strategies for their resolution.
As part of its active participation, the Misk Foundation presented the outcomes of a comprehensive global survey. This survey, conducted among 18,000 young men and women, along with the input of 500 leaders from 20 different countries, explored crucial elements that contribute to positive societal change and address prevailing global challenges for the youth demographic. The identified factors encompassed access to high-quality education, the effective utilization of digital tools, and responses to the pressing issue of climate change.
Misk's unwavering dedication to facilitating connections between leaders and the younger generation, as well as its commitment to addressing global challenges affecting youth, was evident in the series of "Youth Council" sessions conducted in Davos. These sessions, featuring 12 brainstorming discussions, witnessed the active involvement of notable figures such as Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of stc Group, Prince Mohammed bin Khalid bin Abdullah.
