Mohammed Al Qahtani discusses HAPCO's groundbreaking ceremony

Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, and esteemed Excellencies, I extend to you a warm morning greeting and zao shang hao.

In a heartfelt address, the speaker extended their sincere appreciation to all those present who have played a pivotal role in transforming today's momentous groundbreaking event into a tangible reality.

Amidst the tumultuous global economy and the ever-changing energy sector, one project has managed to maintain its position as the foremost priority for Aramco.

Today marks the culmination of a tremendous collaborative effort among all parties involved, a moment that calls for celebration. However, it also signifies a crucial juncture from which further progress is set to take off.

In an exciting development, we embark on a journey to fortify the strong foundation that has been meticulously built between us. This foundation, built on the pillars of trust, partnership, and collaboration, serves as the bedrock for our future endeavors.

In a recent statement, Aramco President and CEO Amin Nasser expressed the company's ambitious goal of becoming a comprehensive provider of energy and chemicals, catering to China's long-term energy security and pursuit of high-quality development.

In a remarkable display of teamwork, our organization is set to embark on an exhilarating project, joining forces with our esteemed partners. The objective? To construct a business that not only guarantees safety and dependability but also generates employment opportunities while simultaneously delivering substantial value to all parties involved.

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its position in the global oil market, Aramco, the world's largest oil company, has announced plans to expand its oil production capacity. The objective behind this expansion is to guarantee a consistent and dependable long-term supply of oil to HAPCO as well as other prominent entities in China. This development comes as Aramco seeks to solidify its foothold in the Chinese market, which has emerged as a key player in the global energy landscape. In a remarkable display of commitment to environmental sustainability, the company has announced its simultaneous efforts to not only decrease the already minimal carbon intensity of its oil production but also allocate resources towards alternative energy transition solutions and the development of low-carbon energy products.

In line with our objectives of providing secure, easily accessible, and dependable energy to the citizens of China, we are committed to upholding our position as a frontrunner in the ongoing energy transition.

Aramco's latest project is in perfect alignment with their long-term downstream strategy in liquids and chemicals. Their ambitious goal is to convert a staggering 4 million barrels per day of liquids to chemicals by the end of the decade.

The complex in question serves as a crucial foundation for our endeavors to bolster a highly advanced and interconnected downstream sector within China. It is worth noting that the significance of petrochemicals cannot be understated, as they are poised to play a pivotal role in our collective achievements.

HAPCO is poised to become a pioneering example for China's petrochemical industry as it nears completion. The company's vision encompasses the production of environmentally friendly products, such as lower-carbon products, chemicals, and advanced materials.

We extend our gratitude to all of you for joining us on this momentous occasion and for your invaluable collaboration. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous hosts in Liaoning for their warm hospitality. The anticipation of commemorating additional project milestones in the near future is palpable.

In a show of gratitude, the user expressed their appreciation to all those present. Thank you.
