Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa launches Holy Quran International Museum project in Makkah
Makkah, August 8, 2023, On a momentous occasion, the esteemed Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, has officially launched the highly anticipated Holy Quran International Museum project. The grand inauguration took place at the prestigious MWL headquarters, located in the sacred city of Makkah.
In a recent statement, Al-Issa, the head of the MWL's Agency for Serving Quran and Sunnah, unveiled an innovative project that is poised to make history. This groundbreaking initiative, the first of its kind in terms of its content and objectives, originates from the very heart of the MWL's headquarters in Makkah.
In a statement, he highlighted the museum's primary objective of acquainting visitors with the profound teachings and timeless wisdom encapsulated within the Holy Quran's verses. In an announcement made earlier today, Al-Issa, the spokesperson for the museum, revealed that in addition to its primary focus on Islamic history and culture, the museum will also feature a dedicated section showcasing the miracles of the Holy Quran. These miracles, Al-Issa emphasized, will be presented alongside scientifically substantiated evidence, further enhancing their significance and credibility.
In a recent statement, the Secretary-General highlighted the involvement of esteemed individuals in the development of the museum project. Notably, the International Council for Holy Quran Perfect Recitation Sheikhs, under the auspices of MWL, played a significant role in its preparation. Emphasizing the importance of scholarly guidance, the Secretary-General revealed that the museum will establish an advisory commission comprising esteemed scholars from the Islamic world. The museum has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating conferences, forums, and lectures on a global scale.
