Makkah, March 29, 2024, The Muslim World League (MWL) has embraced the recent issuance of temporary precautionary measures by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which are designed to enhance the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and expand the number of land crossings to facilitate its delivery.
In a formal statement, the Secretariat General of MWL underscored the critical importance of these measures in alleviating the dire humanitarian situation faced by civilians in the Gaza Strip. It emphasized the urgent necessity of mobilizing all available resources to uphold international humanitarian law, adhere to resolutions of international legitimacy, and bring an end to the devastating cycle of conflict characterized by loss of life and widespread destruction.
