Najran, September 17, 2023, The College of Medicine at Najran University represented the university at the Medical Training Forum in South Korea 2023, which was held in Seoul from September 11–15, 2023, and sponsored by Sami Al-Sadhan, the Saudi ambassador to the Republic of Korea. Dr. Muhammad Hanif, dean of the College of Medicine at Najran University, stated that the forum aims to improve collaboration in health training between the Saudi Ministry of Education and Korean hospitals and universities in accordance with the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), which seeks to achieve the Health Sector Transformation Program of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 through quality training and development of health practitioners. Hanif emphasized that this participation is an excellent chance for them to share experiences and knowledge with their counterparts in Korean universities, advance training and scientific collaboration in the field of health, raise the bar for medical education, and offer top-notch healthcare to the two nations.
The trip, which included Saudi doctors from Najran University who were pursuing subspecialties in Korea, visited a variety of Korean hospitals, medical facilities, and universities to learn about the most recent medical technology.
