NCM predicts heavy thundershowers in Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah with winds

Riyadh, October 12, 2023, The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicts that some areas of the Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions may have moderate to heavy thundershowers today, along with strong winds. For some areas of the Madinah and Hail regions, thunderstorms followed by high gusts combined with dust are predicted, decreasing visibility. On the northern and central portions of the Red Sea, the winds would be northerly to northwesterly, measuring 15 to 40 km/h, while on the southern part, they would be southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning westerly, measuring 10 to 35 km/h. The winds in the Arabian Gulf will be from the southeast to the southwest, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h.
