NCM predicts thunderstorms, strong winds, dust in Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah regions

Riyadh, Sep 3, 2023, According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), today's forecast for some areas of the Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions, extending to the Madinah region, continues to include moderate and heavy thundershowers, followed by strong winds mixed with dust. In the aforementioned areas as well as some areas of the eastern region, fog will form. Thunderstorms are expected in the center and southern regions, and winds will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part, with speeds between 15 and 45 km/h. In the northern Arabian Gulf, winds will be from the southeast to southwest, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h, and from the northeast to southeast, with speeds between 12 and 34 km/h.
