Casablanca, September 16, 2023, The Moroccan Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs chose Omar bin Abdulaziz Al-Buraidi from Saudi Arabia to compete in the King Mohammed VI International Competition for Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran, and he won the competition's 17th session, which took place in Casablanca last week. This accomplishment adds to the long list of successes Saudis have had in international contests for memorizing the Holy Quran.
