685,550 pilgrims completed Hajj rituals in Madinah

Madinah, August 2, 2023, As of Tuesday, an impressive number of 685,550 pilgrims from various nationalities had made their way to the holy city of Madinah following the completion of their sacred Hajj rituals. According to the latest data released by the Hajj and Visit Committee, a staggering 651,304 pilgrims have already embarked on their journey back to their respective countries. Additionally, the number of departing pilgrims has reached a notable figure of 12,776. These statistics shed light on the significant movement of individuals as the Hajj season draws to a close. According to recent statistics, the current count of pilgrims in Madinah stands at an impressive 34,143. In a recent report, it was revealed that the housing occupancy rate in Madinah has reached a staggering low of 11%. This alarming statistic highlights the pressing issue of inadequate housing in the region. Additionally, it has been reported that a total of 513 pilgrims have been fortunate enough to receive essential medical services during their stay. These services have undoubtedly played a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of these individuals.
