Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrives in Tashkent for GCC-Central Asia meeting

Tashkent, April 14, 2024, Today, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, arrived in the Uzbekistan capital, Tashkent, to participate in the second ministerial meeting between GCC countries and Central Asian states, slated for tomorrow. Additionally, he is scheduled to engage in several meetings during his visit.

Upon his arrival at Tashkent International Airport, the minister was warmly welcomed by Bahram Aliyev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This reception underscores the diplomatic ties and collaborative efforts between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan, as well as the importance of regional dialogues and engagements in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among GCC and Central Asian nations.
