Saudi Foreign Ministry condemns Israeli land confiscation in Palestinian territories

Riyadh, March 27, 2024, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation's recent announcement regarding the confiscation of 8,000 dunams of land in the Jordan Valley area of the occupied Palestinian territories.

In its statement, Saudi Arabia emphasized that such actions by the Israeli occupation violate international laws and relevant resolutions. The Kingdom highlighted that these confiscations further undermine the prospects of achieving a just and sustainable peace, particularly one based on the two-state solution that has been widely endorsed by the international community.

Saudi Arabia called upon the international community to take decisive measures to halt the systematic violations perpetrated by Israeli settlers and to ensure the return of confiscated Palestinian lands. This condemnation reflects the Kingdom's unwavering support for the rights of the Palestinian people and its commitment to advocating for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in line with international legal frameworks.
