Thundershowers and strong winds expected in Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah

Riyadh, March 14, 2024, According to the National Center for Meteorology, thundershowers accompanied by strong winds are still expected in various parts of Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Hail, and Qassim regions. These conditions may extend to some areas in the Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions, with the possibility of fog formation in certain regions.

Wind patterns over the Red Sea are anticipated to be northerly to northwesterly in the northern part, with speeds ranging from 12 to 34km/h. In the central part, winds are expected to be northwesterly to southwesterly, with speeds of 10 to 30km/h, while in the southern part, winds are forecasted to be southeasterly to southwesterly, with speeds ranging from 15 to 35km/h.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be southerly to southeasterly in the northern part, with speeds ranging from 12 to 32km/h, accompanied by thunderstorms. In the central and southern parts, winds are forecasted to be easterly to southeasterly, with speeds ranging from 10 to 28km/h.
