To improve pilgrims' experiences, the Religious Affairs Presidency has launched a Presidency WhatsApp channel.


At the Makkah presidential offices, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais launched a new WhatsApp communication service.


The service's goal is to use modern digital media to spread the Two Holy Mosques' moderate message both domestically and abroad.


The program will broadcast news, video reports, and television success stories, while preserving Islam's authenticity and promoting the religion's interests and message.



Makkah, May 26, 2024. Dr. Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, the President of the Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, today launched the new WhatsApp communication service at the presidential offices in Makkah. The show, by means of the Two Holy Mosques, targets the spreading of the moderate message via modern digital media in the USA and the rest of the world. This program will also broadcast news, video reports, and television success stories.


In his remarks, Al-Sudais stated that the establishment of the WhatsApp channel is an attempt to stay up to date with the latest developments in digital media and social communication, as well as to adapt to the modern changes that are occurring in all fields. The goal of this program is to preserve Islam's authenticity while also adapting to contemporary tools and developments in a manner that is in accordance with Sharia and seeks to promote the religion's interests and message.
