Travelers Make Their Way from Arafat to Muzdalifah

Pilgrims have begun their trip to Muzdalifah in a methodical way, escorted by government-provided health and preventive policies.

Following the Sunnah of the Prophet, Maghrib and Isha prayers are merged, thus pilgrims will spend the night in Muzdalifah.

Tomorrow, on the first day of Eid al-Adha, pilgrims will travel to Mina to perform the sacrifice ceremony and throw pebbles at Jamarat Al-Aqabah, with the support of various Hajj agencies.

Arafat, June 16, 2024. Pilgrims started making their way to Muzdalifah in a well-organized fashion at dusk today, the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah. The government of the custodian of the two holy mosques supplied a collection of health and preventive measures, along with integrated services, to accompany the pilgrims. These preparations, blessed by Allah the Almighty to attend the Day of Arafat and complete the most important pillar of Hajj, have ensured that pilgrims can perform their rites in a peaceful and secure environment. As per the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the pilgrims merged the Maghrib and Isha prayers when they arrived in Muzdalifah from their previous location. They are going to spend the night in Muzdalifah, and immediately after the dawn prayer of tomorrow, which is the first day of Eid al-Adha, they are going to travel to Mina in order to perform the sacrifice ceremony and throw pebbles at Jamarat Al-Aqabah. Various Hajj agencies made it easier for pilgrims to perform their rituals in a secure and peaceful environment.
